I believe email is the heart of any business on the Internet. I talk about tactics I’ve used to boost my email results. It’s all about improving the way you communicate with the people on your list. In the end it is not the size of your email list that really matters, but the relationship you have with the people on the list that is key.

If you have a website and do not have an email list for your visitors to sign up on you’re are missing out. An email list can make your business grow by a factor of ten and it’s easy to get one going.

I recommend using aweber.com for an email hosting service. IF you try to do it yourself you can run into mail hosting companies blocking your emails as spam – and I tried other email hosts over the years and ran into the same problem. If you use a hosting service spammers use then you’ll get blocked too. In fact several years ago doing this ruined my email list and forced me to start over with aweber.com where I have not had this problem.

But put an opt-in form on your site with a nice bribe, like an article or video, to get people to want to opt-in. Then build your list and you can make money. That’s all there is to it.
